Meet Susan Newman, MD, a board-certified Family Medicine direct primary care physician from central Nebraska. Known for establishing strong relationships, she is passionate about proactive & personalized healthcare. Writing is one of many ways she advocates for her patients, for primary care, & for herself.

In her personal life, she is a wife and proud mother of four incredible children who keep her life full of joy, laughter, and the occasional chaos.

She has a deep love for the great outdoors. Road trips to national parks, sitting around the campfire with her family, or just a long walk through her neighborhood are her favorite ways to recharge. She finds peace in the simplicity of nature and in a good cup of coffee.

Writing is another passion of hers, and it’s her way of processing life, sharing stories, and connecting with others.

Above all, she loves Jesus, and her faith is the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through every season. Her relationship with Him is her source of strength, peace, and purpose, and she loves sharing how faith weaves its way through everything she does.
